The Quality Operating System (QOS), originally developed by Ford Corporation, is an effective quality enhancement strategy employed by Ashland to guide and track overall performance, and promote continuous improvement at every level of the organization. At Ashland, quality is not an exclusive function of the Quality Department, but instead an integrated Business Operating System.
